It began in 1952 when I used to show Pomeranians, & winning the child handlers at the Melbourne Royal Show. My parents showed Great Danes and I guess it was in my blood at an early stage.

There was a gap for a few years when I got married and had children before I started again in 1972 with Weimaraners, they became a very big part of our lives.
My two daughters have also been involved in the breed and Shellie is a big part of this kennel and helps to make decisions on breeding combinations.
I currently hold a licence to judge all Gundogs (Sporting Dogs in the US) and trainee for the Non-Sporting group. I have judged all over Australia and New Zealand, England and the United States. I was honoured to be invited to judge the Top Twenty Competition at the Weimaraner Club of America National Show in 2004. I am returning to the US in 2005 to judge the Weimaraner Club of Ohio Specialty Show, the Ohio Hungarian Vizsla Club Specialty and the Echo Hills Kennel Club Championship Show. The next big appointment is to judge Weimaraner bitches at the Northern Weimaraner Society show in England in April 2007.
I have been an active Committee member of the Weimaraner Club of Victoria for 31 years holding various positions of President & Assistant Secretary over the years. I am a Life Member of this Club.
My daughter Shellie and her husband Jonathan have Dalmatians and Shellie is licenced for Gundogs, Non-sporting and trainee for the Terrier group; Jonathan has his Non-sporting licence and training for Gundogs. My other daughter, Jacqui, has Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and has her Gundog, Toy & Non Sporting Licence.
Our aim is to breed quality Weimaraners that are versatile, healthy that make wonderful family companions and are able to compete successfully in the showring.
